DE KAS

Situated in a sprawling greenhouse in the center of one of Amsterdam’s lush parks sits this stunning modernist restaurant. A vegetable forward set menu, De Kas focuses on seasonal cooking using majority of the food grown onsite, including honey from their own hives. A must visit on any occasion, De Kas is one of those cool spots where you can dine indoors or out (in the summer) and experience an oasis in the heart of a city.

KU kitchen

Perhaps not the kind of food you would expect to find in Amsterdam, but Ku Kitchen’s inventive Japanese cooking is one of our favourites in the city. Part cocktail bar, part Japanese kitchen, Ku serves up interesting twists on classic sushi snacks like gyoza and flame grilled edamame. Our personal favourite is the Hotel California Roll followed by a Yuzu Sake to end the meal. The perfect date spot or a great place to go with friends, this versatile restaurant is exactly where you want to be when the weekend kicks off.

Pazzi

As much as we love pasta, we also love pizza, and often find ourselves scouring cities around the world to get the best, most authentic crust. Pazzi is hands down the best pizza you will eat in Amsterdam. Using only the highest quality ingredients and a traditional Napoleon-style pizza oven, Pazzi is a cool, trendy restaurant that whips up deliciously authentic pizza’s and classic antipasti such as vitello tonnato or burrata. Two locations doesn’t make it any easier to get in, so expect a queue but it’s well worth the wait.
